Robotics Learning Syllabus finalised for GESEA4EU

25th July 2023

25 July 2023 | The GESEA4EU programme has recently finalised the Robotics Learning Syllabus and here is a summary of the modules that this syllabus includes.

Robotics: In order to prepare participants for GESEA Robotics certification, this course will expose participants to the current state of robotic-assisted surgery, go over the key features offered, and combine training and simulation exercises.

Robotics for Nurses: the robotic surgical team requires nurses to have a very high level of professional expertise and be experts in robotics. In this training, nurses will learn how to create and modify guidelines and particular protocols in accordance with best practice principles.

Robotics for Training Specialists: the Robotics Train-the-Trainer module for Specialists focuses on how to instruct gynaecological surgeons in the robotics learning modules and GESEA exercises.

Robotics for Training Nurses: the Robotics Train-the-Trainer module for nurses is primarily concerned with how to train nurses in the learning modules. It will highlight the role of the nurse during robotic aided surgery in connection to the provided training approach and identify the crucial elements of an efficient training session.

Now that all of the syllabuses have been finalised, the GESEA4EU team has begun work on the training programme agenda, which is expected to be published by mid-September.
