First Train the Trainers courses' take place in Rome

Almost 40 trainee specialist trainers and nurse trainers took part in the first round of the GESEA4EU train the trainer courses run by the GESEA4EU project in Gemelli Hospital in Rome on 18-20 December. Leadership for these courses was in the highly capable hands of Prof. Vasilios Tanos from Cyprus and the organisation of the courses was led by Dr Federica Campolo from Gemelli. These courses enabled all participants to become familiar with the standardised training programmes and featured a considerable number of hands-on training as well as modules on topics like communication, effective demonstration and motivation. Further Train the Trainer courses will be organised in Gemelli Hospital in Spring.
