GESEA4EU

GESEA4EU was a two year project built on GESEA which began in February 2023. This innovative cross-border project brought together 16 partners from 8 European countries and was co-funded by the European Union. GESEA4EU partners standardised the GESEA training offer already provided to surgeons in the existing 12 GESEA centres and expanded it to meet the training needs of other healthcare professionals including nurses and supporting non-clinical staff.

During the project lifetime, 27 learning modules were developed and trialled within the existing network under the existing certification procedures.
